Espace Pur manages the entire value chain for coastal, river and lake protection: from geomorphological and hydro-sedimentary site analysis to the design, manufacturing, implementation and monitoring of technical installations. This comprehensive expertise forms the core added value of our company.

 

We act as a designers, solution providers, integrators and service providers, adapting to the specific situation and challenges of each project.

 

Espace Pur plays an active role within its ecosystem collaborating closely with design offices, associations and NGO's, public works contractors, independent experts and universities.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN STUDY

The conceptual design study includes:

  • Site survey 

    • A coastline is a sensitive area that we first study on site. This involves understanding natural sediment exchanges, analysing currents and geomorphological factors, conducting data and usage surveys, and assessing the overall environment. We also perform risk and hazard analyses focusing on coastal erosion, marine submersion, biodiversity loss, and sea level rise.

  • Engineering 

    • Several analyses are carried out: hydro-sedimentary and geomorphological function analyses, current dynamics, and measurement of spatial changes through historical data. The regulatory status of the sites is also taken into account. 

 

These two stages enable the definition of technical solutions and structures specifically engineered to suit the operational characteristics of each site.  These are intended to restore and enhance natural resilience.

  • Structural characterisation (positioning, sizing, and definition of material characteristics based on site specific requirements)

  • Digital and physical modelling (where appropriate, modeling is carried out in collaboration with our expert partners).

  • Assessment of hydro-sedimentary impacts

  • Planning of work execution

  • Preparation of the project budget

PREPARATION OF REGULATORY FILES

In France, we prepare the regulatory documentation required to obtain authorizations for the implementation of our solutions.

 

Internationally, we collaborate with local engineering firms to prepare the necessary documents in compliance with local regulations. 

MANUFACTURE OF STABIPLAGE® STRUCTURES, MODULES, AND PERMEABLE FORMWORK

We produce STABIPLAGE® structures and other technical textiles products at our manufacturing site.

Thanks to our manufacturing capacity, we can adapt the choice of materials, anchoring techniques, and seams to meet specific requirements.​

IMPLEMENTATION AND OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT OF WORKS

STABIPLAGE® implementation work in France

  • ​Espace Pur specialises in coastal civil engineering projects and operates its own injection network for STABIPLAGE® structures.

  • We work with local contractors to ensure effective deployment of our solutions. 

  • We carry out projects in France and worldwide.

MONITORING OF COMPLETED WORKS

  • Photos (including aerial satellite, drone, and underwater imagery)

  • Topographic and bathymetric surveys

  • Structural inspections

  • Evaluation of results
