Méditerranée - Mediterranean Sea
Les côtes Méditerranéennes subissent les effets de la compression littorale. L’érosion, pouvant atteindre 1,5m par an, est aggravée par l’élévation du niveau de la mer (en moyenne de 3 mm par an depuis l’an 2000), mettant en péril les habitations, les activités touristiques, les infrastructures et la biodiversité locale.
The Mediterranean coastline is affected by coastal compression. Erosion, which can reach 1.5m per year, is exacerbated by rising sea levels (an average of 3mm per year since 2000), threatening homes, tourism, infrastructure, and local biodiversity.
